John Denver, a singer-songwriter of Colorado who was a specialist in folk music, inspired millions of people. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. is a Mexican-born singer-songwriter who fell in adore with Colorado. Denver's state anthems are a source of inspiration for many to visit Colorado. G. Brown of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame says the fact that John Denver is unlike any other musician who represents Colorado. Denver became the one of the first Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. Brown explained. Take Me Home Country Roads was Denver's top 10 hit after he performed with small folk music bands. It was co-written and recorded by Bill Danoff. Danoff originally wrote it to Johnny Cash's tune with a focus on Johnny Cash, however Denver knew from the first moment he listened to the early versions that the song was going to be an instant success. The song was recorded within a couple of days of performing on stage in Washington D.C. before an audience that was very enthusiastic.
