Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011after having appeared in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British series since 2009. In 2012, she started to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. From 2016 to 2017 she served as the team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant on the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. In 2012 she became the second female to win the So You Believe That You're Funny award. Bea the name she was given as her maiden name, is a tribute to her late dad. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is a Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. Her birth date was in March 16, 1984. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea was three years old. She was not told the cause of his death until she was 13 years old. In 2017, she wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and adopted her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea as well as her sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. The family was awed by horses, race meetings and racing. Bea was a child a tour guide in the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she didn't want a racing career. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
